Pursued Medicine (MBBS) at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. Clinical discipline and ethical practice were ingrained right from the outset.
Armed Forces
Medical Service
Commissioned as Medical Officers in Indian Army and Indian Navy. Gained experience in environments where decisions had to be always practical and protocol driven.
Dermatology Specialisation
Pursued further specialisation in the field of Dermatology and completed our 3-year post-graduation in MD Dermatology from Command Hospital Airforce, Bangalore.
The foundations of understanding and caring for skin as a unique organ system were laid down during these years. Years later, Compound evolved from this very understanding.
Clinical Practice
Garekars MD Clinics (Delhi NCR) started with a single room practice in Gurgaon and has steadily grown in the last decade to multiple clinics across Delhi NCR. This active clinical practice, listening and treating skin conditions is what guides us in our approach to formulating skincare for specific Indian skin concerns.
